GeoTrack - Story

The problem of bike theft continued to persist in the country during 2017 making it a not-safe place for vehicle owners. The newspaper always used to publish the news of vehicle theft and difficult to find it. Once our founder faced a problem his beloved motorbike was stolen not once but twice which caused a huge financial loss for him. The frustration and stress of the situation compelled leaving Nepal and go abroad.

In 2017-18, the number of vehicle theft stood on 1,385 and police recovered only 251. Similarly, in the fiscal year 2018-19, the number increased to 1,611 incidents of vehicle theft and only 189 vehicles were recovered. This figure is only of Kathmandu, now we can imagine about the whole of Nepal. (Source: Kathmandu Post)

To address this severe issue, some of us even canceled our plan to move abroad and began the research day and night. After 3 years of hard work and dedication, we came up with the concept of GeoTrack.

Now we are connecting more than 3000 vehicles through individual and institutional partnerships providing them with the best fleet management services all over Nepal. Thanks to an amazing team of Software Shark Tech who have worked hard to bring this vision to life. Their hard work and determination have brought relief to countless riders in Nepal and made their journeys safer and more secure.
